TCU coach Gary Patterson continues to not talk about the Auburn job. Patterson met Thursday with Auburn officials about the head coaching vacancy. When asked if he had any comment following today's practice in the indoor facility, he did throw back a question to me that should put the speculation to rest.
"You watched me coach today. Does it look like I'm going anywhere?'' he asked casually.
Nope.
In other words: Relax TCU fans. He's not going anywhere.
(Update: Rivals.com is reporting that Iowa State coach Gene Chizik will be Auburn's next head coach.)
