A.J. Abrams hit a 3-pointer and then scored on a drive, drew the foul and made the free throw as Texas cut Kansas State's lead to 63-54 with about 5 minutes to play.
But Denis (say "Denny") Clemente responded with another hit, a floater, to give him 32 points. He had dribbled through the Horns for a layup with 7 minutes left to give KSU a 63-46 lead.
Texas has scored again to make it a seven-point game after being down by as much as 17.
