Kansas State's Denis Clemente missed a running 3-pointer at the buzzer and the Wildcats and Texas Longhorns are going to overtime after Texas battled back from a 17-point deficit.
Clemente has scored 40 points, tying a Frank Erwin Center opponent's record set by Houston's Rob Williams in 1981. (He has now scored in overtime to set the record.)
Justin Mason's basket with 9.2 seconds to play tied the game after his 3-point play made it a 73-72 game with 22 seconds left.
Kansas State missed one of two free throws before Mason's tying basket.
