Texas cut a 19-point deficit to four points in the second half but couldn't get any closer as Texas A&M closed strong for an 81-66 win at Reed Arena. The win snapped the Aggies' three-game losing skid. Bryan Davis and Chinemelu Elonu had 15 points each for A&M.
