Stacey Dales won't fly coach, won't be on ESPN

The Oklahoman reports that former Oklahoma Sooners basketball standout Stacey Dales and ESPN reached an impasse in contract negotiations in December over a travel provision Dales wouldn't agree to. And so her sideline reporting in football and basketball studio analysis for the Worldwide Leader in Sports are done.

The Oklahoman writes that "an ESPN source confirmed an Internet report that Dales was unhappy with flying coach while many of her colleagues were flying first class.

That sounds a bit like a prima donna, but Dales also sounds like a person of principle, and then you have to factor in the hassle that is airline travel.
