Texas A&M coach Mark Turgeon said senior guard Josh Carter, who injured his left ankle in the first half of Saturday's win over Missouri, is wearing a walking boot and won't practice today. Turgeon said he does expect Carter to play in Wednesday night's Big 12 Conference first-round game against Texas Tech but it will be a game-time decision.
"He's pretty sore," Turgeon said. "He's having around-the-clock treatment. He wants to be a part of the game Wednesday night. We'll know more tonight, but he feels better today. ... We're not going to jeopardize him in any way for this game, but knowing Josh, he'll be ready to play Wednesday night."
Carter returned from the injury Saturday to score 11 of his 13 points in the second half of a 96-86 victory, the Aggies' sixth in a row.
