Denver advances to the third round of the Sun Belt women's tournament with the four-point victory after making one of two free throws. UNT's Mansa El, part of a 12-0 run in the final 1:24 that cut Denver's lead to 66-63, went down swinging with a half-court shot that was taken off the scoreboard. Officials ruled El's shot didn't get off before the game clock expired. UNT finishes season 11-20.
