Oklahoma quarterback Sam Bradford was in Birmingham, Alabama Saturday to have his injured shoulder examined by noted orthopedic surgeon Dr. James Andrews, according to reports by OU Insider.com and a television station in Jackson, Miss.
Andrews reportedly had previously looked at the x-rays of Bradford's shoulder injury and was seeing Bradford to offer an evaluation after the Heisman and O'Brien award winning quarterback began throwing again on a limited basis on the Sooner practice field last week. Further word of Bradford's status for OU's game at Miami next Saturday is expected Monday.--Mike Jones.
