Kerley, Clay give TCU 24-6 cushion

Quarterback Andy Dalton hit a wide-open Curtis Clay down the middle of the field for a 47-yard scoring play to put the Horned Frogs up 24-6 in the third quarter.
Jeremy Kerley's spectacular 69-yard punt return for a touchdown with under a minute left in the first half gave the Frogs a 17-6 halftime lead. Kerley caught the punt at the 31-yard line and immediately took off towards the right sideline and ran untouched past midfield. Kerley continued to down the sideline until Colorado State defenders forced him to stop and chance direction around the 20-yard line. Kerley cut back towards the middle of the field for about 10 yards before cutting back towards the sideline and into the corner of the right end zone.
