One of the two buses carrying the TCU football coaches and players broke down Friday near I-15 as the Horned Frogs traveled from the Salt Lake City airport to their hotel in Provo. Two other buses, which had support staff, cheerleaders and TCU administrators, including Chancellor Victor Boschini and new athletic director Chis Del Conte, were also in the caravan. One of the non-team buses unloaded its occupants and let the defensive team and coach Gary Patterson take it onto the hotel. A replacement bus arrived 15 minutes later to get those stranded to the hotel.
Not the most convenient way to start the Frogs' biggest game of the year. Maybe just another thing coaches can use to fire up the team?
