Iowa State authored one of the season's biggest upsets in the Big 12 today by knocking off Nebraska, 9-7, in Lincoln, Neb. It marked the Cyclones' first victory in Lincoln since 1977 -- back during the Jimmy Carter administration.
Stunningly, Nebraska finished with more turnover (8) than points (7) against the Cyclones. The Cornhuskers lost five fumbles and QB Zac Lee threw three interceptions. I'm not sure when the last time the Huskers finished with more turnovers than points in a home game. But I'm sure it's been a long, long time.
