Tuffy Moss' 3-pointer with two second left on the clock was a tad short and Arizona State made two free throws with 1.2 seconds remaining to win 52-49 at Wells Fargo Arena.
The Sun Devils advance to the National Invitational Tip-Off Tournament semifinals in New York City next week.
TCU led by eight points with 3:49 remaining in the game after Edvinas Ruzgas and Tuffy Moss nailed back to back 3-pointers. But the Sun Devils went on a 12-1 to finish the game and spoiled the Frogs' upset hopes.
