It was Boise State offense's turn to face the media Thursday, and those questioned this morning had the same nice-sounding thing to say about TCU. The third-ranked Frogs, Boise personnel said, are the "best team we could have possibly played." Or something like that.
The Broncos are paying TCU a compliment while also leaving a little wiggle room. Technically, the way the BCS selections played out, TCU is the best team Boise State could have played. But Alabama and Texas are ranked higher.
That nit-picking aside, Boise State lavished praise on TCU's defense. Speedy. Disciplined. Fundamentally sound. The offensive coordinator, Bryan Harsin, is most impressed by linebacker Daryl Washington, and said the Frogs have plenty of depth in the secondary to not be affected too much if injuries keep some players out Monday.
