Nebraska disappointment

OK, that's as obvious a headline as I'll ever write. Coach Bo Pelini just talked about the pride he had in his team, especially on how the defense played:

"I’m proud of that group. They’ve been doing it all year long. That’s a heck of an offense (for Texas). Our guys got after them. it was a tremendous effort."

One more from Pelini on talking to his team afterward:

I told them I’m proud of them. They’re champions. I’m proud of how they put Nebraska back on the map. Nobody gave us a chance coming into this game tonight. I’m proud of these guys. It didn’t happen, but that’s part of the game. You give it your best shot and let the chips fall where they may. For the way they fought through things, they’re champions no matter what the scoreboard says."

Said Ndamukong Suh on the disappointment, and that ending: "Wethought the time was over but it wasn’t. Our job on the defensive line is to block that field goal and we didn’t. It ended up winning the game."
