Texas freshman point guard J'Covan Brown went through a full practice Thursday afternoon and is expected to play Saturday against 10th-ranked North Carolina.
Brown rolled an ankle last Saturday against Texas State and sat out Tuesday's game against UT-Pan American. He is expected to play Saturday unless he suffers an unexpected reaction to going through a full practice.
Freshman forward Shawn Williams also suffered an ankle injury against Texas State and has been ruled out for Saturday's game.--Mike Jones.
