Hawaiian meets camou

The Cotton Bowl may have moved but its hospitality made the transfer.

This, of course, is the first Cotton Bowl game not being played at the Cotton Bowl. It has moved to JerryWorld, Arlington's new zillion-dollar venue with a retractable roof and gigantic sliding glass doors.

But the Cotton Bowl has always prided itself on being a friendly venue -- and that much hasn't change.

Cotton Bowl officials working the pressbox are wearing very bright, festive shirts that can't be mistaken and certainly not missed. One worker calls the red, gold and olive green design "Hawaiian meets camouflage."

I think he's onto something.
