Texas A&M has selected Terrell Williams as its new defensive line coach, pending approval by the school’s board of regents.
A&M coach Mike Sherman announced the hire today. Williams, a nose guard at East Carolina in 1995-96, has spent the past four seasons coaching the defensive line at Purdue. The Boilermakers have had at least one defensive lineman selected in each of the last three NFL drafts, starting with Dallas Cowboys’ defensive end Anthony Spencer, a first-round pick in 2007.
