Texas
point guard Dogus Balbay will miss the rest of the season after tearing
the ACL in his left knee when he slipped on the court Saturday at Texas
Tech.
Balbay
started 22 of 27 games and averaged a team-leading 3.9 assists per
game. He posted a 2.5-to-1 assist-to-turnover ratio (106-43) and ranked
third on the team with 35 steals. Balbay missed what would have been
his freshman season with a similar injury to the other knee.
