The new deal for Texas A&M basketball coach Mark Turgeon is awash in final details, but will get done in the coming days, a source with knowledge of the situation assured Wednesday.
We reported last week that as part of the new package he would receive a raise that would bump his salary from approximately $1.2 million to $1.5 or beyond. The source said an announcement indeed could come this week, but not to read anything between the lines if that does not happen.
