Kyle Winkler struck out Russell Moldenhauer to end the top of the fifth inning with a runner on second and two outs. Tant Shepherd reached base on shortstop Taylor Featherston's error, taking second on the wild throw.
Winkler, who pitched and lost in the super regional against Texas last year, has given up only three hits through five innings today.
Joe Weik got the Horned Frogs' second hit of the game in the bottom of the fourth with a single, but Brandon Workman struck out Jantzen Witte swinging.
This is Game 3 of the Austin Super Regional, the winner advancing to the College World Series, which starts Friday in Omaha, Neb.
Other than those that pitched Saturday, every pitcher is available to pitch today. The Longhorns have yet to use ace reliever and former starter Chance Ruffin in the series. Tyler Lockwood finished off the Horned Frogs' win Friday in relief.
