Texas A&M officials will honor Ray Childress and Gene Stallings, the school’s latest inductees into the College Football Hall of Fame, during a ceremony at Kyle Field in conjunction with the team’s Oct. 30 game against Texas Tech.
Childress, a defensive end, and Stallings, a former A&M player who later coached the Aggies to a Southwest Conference title in 1967, were selected in May as part of the hall’s 2010 induction class. Members of the 2010 class officially will be inducted into the Hall of Fame during a Dec. 7 ceremony in New York.
