Former Texas Tech coach Mike Leach is back in the college football business. Leach will be a game analyst for CBS College Sports Network’s telecasts this season, network officials announced today.
Leach, who has an ongoing lawsuit against the school that fired him last December, will be teamed with veteran play-by-play announcer Roger Twibell, another newcomer to the network in 2010. Leach, who lives in Key West, Fla., posted an 84-43 record with 10 bowl appearances during 10 seasons at Tech. He was dismissed last December, amid allegations that he mistreated injured player Adam James, son of former NFL player Craig James.
Leach holds the Tech record for career victories by a football coach.
