By now Texas A&M QB Jerrod Johnson's trophy room is probably a bit full, but he has another award. On Monday, he was named Manning Award "Star of the Week" after he tore up La Tech on Saturday night. He also received honorable mention National QB of the Week honors from the College Football Performance Awards.
He had 399 yards of total offense in the Aggies' 48-16 win. He had his fourth straight 300-yard passing game.
Teammate Damontre Moore earned the National Defensive Player of the Week by the CFPA. He had two sacks and forced three fumbles.
You ask, what is the CFPA? Got me. I had never heard of it until A&M sent me the press release.
I think it's another case of there being a few too many awards.

Or it could be the case of you expressing ignorance given their attendance last year was 553,495 with events at UT and Houston and 2 Dallas Cowboy trophy recipients. Try Wikipedia or Google next time first; you might save some face.
