Friday Night Football
My alma mater, Kansas, is the featured game this evening but it doesn't mean I like college games on a night reserved for high schools.
FW native and Kansas head coach Turner Gill has gone from FireTurnerGill.com to TurnerGillForGov.com in seven days. A Week 1 loss to I-AA North Dakota St to defeating No. 15 Ga Tech the next week leaves everyone at a loss what his team is.
Who knows what KU will do tonight when it plays at Southern Miss on the four lettered?
As a Kansas grad, I wanted Terry Allen back as head coach after KU scored three points in Week 1. And the Terry Allen era was an embarrassment for a program stacked with them. After watching KU against Ga Tech it’s apparent there is some talent there. The defense is average, and the offense is inexperienced. So a young offense plus a mediocre defense equals an erratic season.
They should win tonight, but won’t.
Cal also plays at Nevada. Both teams are 2-0, and the Wolf Pack ranks sixth nationally in rushing yards per game. For no other reason than fun, go with the Wolf.

When you need triumph as badly as you needed the air, then you'll get it. That's the secret to triumph. Do you assume so?
