It looks as if the University of Colorado will be able to leave the Big 12 after all after this season, and land in the Pac 10 for the 2011-12 year.
The four-lettered is reporting that after a whole bunch of lawyers have been involved in this process, and a decision regarding the Buffs departure should be coming pretty soon. The Buffs have been negotiating a buyout with the Big 12; CU reportedly had to bay the conference a $9 million exit fee.
Nebraska will be leaving the Big 12 for the Big 10 beginning in the '11-'12 academic year as well.
The Big 12 will then go to round-robin scheduling.
