Most Frog haters believe they nor Boise State or any of the other Non-AQ teams deserve a spot in the rich kids club. Maybe they don't.
But what in the name of overrated-overhyped-non deserving teams is the Big East doing in the BCS? While we're at it, what is the Big East doing at the I-A level?
Week 2 is not even done and the "best" of the Big East has already been exposed; this time it was No. 23 West Virginia barely winning at Marshall, 24-21, in OT in Huntington, WVA on Friday night. WVA had no business winning this game. Marshall authored one of the great chokes in recent memories; the Thundering Herd led 21-6 midway through the fourth quarter before gagging.
Don't be confused by this win. WVA is not that good.
The larger issue is the Big East continues to be treated like a power conference when all it does is demonstrate is that it's on the same level as the MWC or C-USA. If that.
In Week 1, No. 15 Pitt lost at Utah in OT.
Now WVA barely avoids a huge upset, and deserved to lose.
But because the Big East has a ticket to the BCS the greater viewing audience can be assured some undeserving team from this conference will play in a prime-time bowl game.

How about this gripe?
The Steven Hawkins article currently running on AP and the Star-Telegram that says:
"But since the rest of the TCU schedule is void of any teams currently in the Top 25, and the only opponent left from an automatic BCS-qualifying conference is perennial loser Baylor, the Frogs probably need plenty of dominating victories to keep their lofty ranking."
Hello -- BYU and Utah are BOTH ranked in the Top 25 in BOTH the AP and USA Today polls.
We may not play in the SEC, but we do PLAY Top 25 teams.

OK, my mistake on BYU in the AP poll. Both in USA Today poll which counts in BSC rankings.
