Texas receiver John Chiles, a senior from Mansfield Summit, will miss Saturday’s game against Texas Tech because of a groin injury, team trainers announced today. Chiles, who is listed as a co-starter with freshman Mike Davis on the Longhorns’ depth chart, sustained the injury in last week’s 34-7 victory over Wyoming. Chiles has five receptions for 68 yards (13.6 per catch) in the sixth-ranked Longhorns’ first two games.
