Don't worry about the headline. Talking to a member of the TCU athletic administration on Tuesday and there is some discussion that when the West Side of the Amon G. Carter Stadium stands come down it may be completed by an implosion. In a word - way cool. Sorry. That's two words.
This decision, however, is far from final. Things have to be taken down first from atop the press box, etc.
The stadium is due to begin reconstruction immediately after the '10 home season, which is coming faster than you think.
Needless to say, the implosion wouldn't be long. But if it happens, pick out a good place to watch. There is nothing more fun than to watch a stadium implode.
