Add Kansas State coach Bill Snyder to the growing list of folks who have heaped a lot of praise on Baylor quarterback Robert Griffin.
Through the first seven games this season, Griffin is third in the nation in total offense (335 yards per game) and fourth in the country in total passing yards with 1,969 yards. He also has rushed 70 times for 376 yards and six touchdowns.
“I do not know if there is one specific challenge -- there are many challenges,’’ Snyder said of trying to contain Griffin. “He can run, he can throw, he can lead and motivate his team.
“He is a complete player. He is fast, quick and he can change directions fluidly.”
Snyder's K-State squad (5-1) will face Griffin and the Bears (5-2) at 2:30 p.m. Saturday at Floyd Casey Stadium in Waco. The winner of the game will be bowl eligible.
