For those of you in L.A., near L.A. or who plan to come to L.A., make sure you add to your list of places to see the world-famous Getty Center. This museum located in the hills overlooking pretty much all of L.A. is home to one of the most impressive art collections in the world. It would take you months to see everything here and tour the gardens.
One particular piece caught my eye, and is very appropriate for a certain TCU football coach.
Below is "David with head of Goliath" by Pietro Novelli in 1630s.
This parcticular painting does not include David holding a slingshot but rather a sword. And if you notice, David ... uhhh ... kinda took Goliath's head off with it.
