Most college football fans know players receive gifts from their respective bowls. TCU players, coaches and staff got to select between an assortment of electronics (flat screen TVs, speakers, MP3 players) and recliners back in Fort Worth. But the players are not alone.
Media members covering the Rose Bowl were presented with an assortment of tickets to games including the NBA's Los Angeles Clippers, the NHL's Los Angeles Kings and tickets to the Grammy Museum at L.A. Live. For those sports writers without the time to attend (me), the Rose Bowl also handed out fleece blankets with the bowl's insignia.
