Even if you hate L.A. and all things SoCal you simply can't hate the greatest dive in all of L.A. - Roscoe's Chicken and Waffles. This place is an LA institution. www.roscoeschickenandwaffles.com
Just be prepared to wait. The lines outside are legendary, but totally worth it. I went with the chicken and waffles. The fried chicken is good, but don't expect a place like Babes. It's good fried chicken here. But throw in the waffles and this is a five-star cuisine.
