TCU head coach Gary Patterson is not necessarily a fan of all of his players talking to the media. A player could say something stupid that could be the difference in his team winning or losing. But if your team plays in the Rose Bowl you must adhere to the Rose Bowl media policy, which means lots of players talking. Lots of coaches talking, too.
On Wednesday morning at the media session, TCU center Jake Kirkpatrick decided to playfully interview TCU receiver Jeremy Kerley. This was the very brief Q&A.
Jake Kirkpatrick: I got a question for you - do you think you are talented enough to play on the o-line?
Jeremy Kerley: Wisconsin's o-line.
That should really help loosen up Gary's media policies.
