Texas A&M quarterback Jerrod Johnson, a senior who lost his starting job in October, has accepted an invitation to play in the East-West Shrine Game, Jan. 22 in Orlando, Fla. Johnson holds the A&M career records for total offense (8,888 yards) and passing yards (8,011) but has not played since Oct. 23, when he was replaced by Ryan Tannehill, a junior who is 5-0 as the Aggies’ starting quarterback.
