TCU couldn't stop Oral Roberts under the basket Thursday night and, in the end, it was the Horned Frogs' undoing. Oral Roberts defeated TCU 78-74 to advance in the Women's National Invitational Tournament to play Tulane.
The Frogs (22-11) were out-rebounded 52-43. Forward Jordan Pyle had 20 points and 13 rebounds for the Golden Eagles (22-10). The loss spoiled great final games by two TCU seniors. Senior Helena Sverrisdottir finished with her second career triple-double (16 points, 10 rebounds and 11 assists), only third in TCU history. Emily Carter scored 30 points, grabbed six rebounds and had six assists.
