Watching the early minutes of UCLA's opening round game against Michigan State and I have decided Bruins forward Joshua Smith is my new favorite player. He is 6-foot-10, and listed generously at 305 pounds. That means he's bigger than another former "large" college basketball center, former Fort Worth Southwest and Arkansas monster Oliver Miller. Miller was listed as 6-9, 280 ... and that's a load.
The difference is Miller was a great athlete with soft hands and good feet. He just couldn't stop eating.
