TCU quarterback Casey Pachall has missed the last two practices with a sore shoulder and will have an MRI test Wednesday, coach Gary Patterson said. Pachall suited out Tuesday but he did not practice, according to Patterson. Practice was closed to media.
The extent of Pachall’s injury is unknown. Patterson deferred to Wednesday’s test before elaborating.
An injury to Pachall would be a major blow to the Frogs, who would be forced to start either redshirt freshman Matt Brown or true freshman Trevone Boykin at Baylor Sept. 2.
“The offense wasn’t good at all [Tuesday],” Patterson said. “We need leadership [with Pachall] not out there.”
