Texas quarterback Connor Wood, a redshirt freshman from Houston, has been given an unconditional release from his scholarship and has transferred to Colorado, school officials announced today. Wood will be eligible to compete for the Buffaloes during the 2012 season. In addition, linebacker DeMarco Cobbs (fractured forearm) is out indefinitely after being injured in Tuesday’s practice.
