Texas Tech quarterback Seth Doege was selected today as the FBS national offensive player of the week by the Walter Camp Football Foundation. Doege threw for 441 yards and four touchdowns in the Red Raiders’ 41-38 upset of Oklahoma, which entered the game ranked No. 3 in the BCS standings and No. 1 in the coaches poll.
Clemson defensive end Kourtnei Brown, who scored two touchdowns in a 59-38 victory over North Carolina, received the defensive honor. Brown scored on an interception return and a fumble return.
