TCU received its 19th pledge for the class of 2012 when La Grange offensive lineman Chad Childs committed to the Horned Frogs today.
"They offered last night," La Grange coach Matt Kates said.
"He was on his way to Texas Tech for a visit today and went ahead and canceled that. He decided he wanted to be a Horned Frog."
The 6-foot-5, 275 pound Childs, whose uncle played football at TCU, chose the Horned Frogs over Missouri, Texas Tech and SMU, according to Kates.
Childs also had offers from Oregon State and Wake Forest.
