Pflugerville Hendrickson athlete Daje Johnson, a TCU commit, will receive an in-home visit with Horned Frogs coach Gary Patterson on Thursday, sources said on Tuesday afternoon.
One of the top-rated players in the country, Johnson has been committed to TCU since March but has been courted by several schools as of late, including Texas.
Johnson accumulated 2,500 total yards on offense and 32 TDs this past season and projects as a wide receiver or defensive back in college.
Arlington Martin duo to visit UNT
Arlington Martin coach Bob Wager said defensive tackle Mustafa Haboul and offensive lineman Connor Trussell will visit North Texas this weekend.
The 6-foot-1, 230 Haboul was a force for the Warriors during their playoff run this season and racked up 49 tackles, seven sacks and a fumble return for TD this past season.
Trussell (6-4, 270) helped pave the way for a Warrior run game that amassed nearly 3,500 rushing yards.
Mansfield QB to take final visit
Mansfield quarterback Jerod Evans is set to visit Memphis this weekend, Mansfield coach Jeff Hulme said.
Evans (6-4, 210) totaled 2,600 yards of offense this season and has visited the campuses of North Texas and Air Force in the past two weeks.
