Texas A&M has hired Marcel Yates, a former Boise State player and coach, as its co-defensive coordinator and secondary coach, school officials announced today. Yates has coached the Broncos’ defensive backs for the past nine seasons.
A&M coach Kevin Sumlin said Yates is a “terrific recruiter who has a proven record in developing the young men he coaches.”
