Texas A&M basketball coach Billy Kennedy said today he would like to schedule a non-conference game against Texas or Baylor at a neutral site _ likely an NBA arena in Dallas or Houston _ at some point after this season, but the idea is merely in the discussion stages.
“If they’d agree to play us in Dallas or Houston, a one-game deal, I’d love to,” Kennedy said.
With the Aggies headed to the Southeastern Conference in July, Wednesday’s A&M-Baylor game in College Station (8 p.m., ESPN) marks the last scheduled meeting in that rivalry. The final scheduled A&M-Texas game is Feb. 6 in College Station.
