A handful of protesters voiced and showed their displeasure at Penn State before Monday’s TicketCity Bowl at Cotton Bowl Stadium.
Penn State is in the midst of trying to move past one of the worst scandals in college sports history, when child sex-abuse charges were filed against former defensive coordinator Jerry Sandusky two months ago. Penn State responded by firing legendary coach Joe Paterno, and high school officials.
Still, the stigma of the Sandusky scandal hasn’t left. Protestors held up signs ranging from “Penn Rape” to “Pope JoePa” with explicit sexual images. A video is posted below:
