Baylor’s Pierre Jackson and Missouri’s Phil Pressey are two of 11 finalists for the 2012 Bob Cousy Award, given the top point guard in college basketball, award officials announced today.
Jackson, a junior, is averaging 12.6 points, 6.0 assists and 1.9 steals per game for the sixth-ranked Bears (20-2, 7-2 in Big 12). He has connected on 49.4 percent of his three-point shots, including the game winner in Wednesday’s 63-60 victory over Texas A&M in College Station.
