TCU Head Football Coach Gary Patterson:
"There are days people want to be a head football coach, but today is not one of those days. As I heard the news this morning, I was first shocked, then hurt and now I’m mad.
"Under my watch, drugs and drug use by TCU’s student-athletes will not be tolerated by me or any member of my coaching staff. Period. Our program is respected nationally for its strong ethics and for that reason the players arrested today were separated from TCU by the University. I believe strongly that young people’s lives are more important than wins or losses.
"This situation isn’t unique to TCU—it is a global issue that we all have to address. This isn’t just about bad decisions made by a small percentage of my team. It is about a bigger issue across this country and world.
"As a coach, I do the best I can to educate members of my team. We have programs in place that teach student-athletes about what they should and shouldn’t do and how to be successful in life. I talk to them about how to be students and upstanding men that uphold the TCU name and its traditions.
"At the end of the day, though, sometimes young people make poor choices. The Horned Frogs are bigger and stronger than those involved."

This is to the ignorant guy you know who you are. It says in the bible "ye without sin cast the first stone!" Why don't you and your state school football team take a drug test and put that in your pipe and smoke it! By the way what flavor would it be? You have young people just leaving high school and their parents probably for the first time in their lives and you want to condemn them forever!C'mon! The police wimped out again why did'nt they stay in there and get the BIG DOGS instead of the pawns? My favorite part in Patton was the beginning when George C.Scott said we're not just going to kill the bastards we're going to use the goo from their bodies to grease our tanks! Why don't the police chiefs grow some. You cut out the heart and its dead! It also says in the bible "forgive them for they know not what they do!" Do we want to repeat history? I'm an x-player and I loved that school back than when I was there with Coach Wacker and I thought I would never say I would love and respect another coach like that, but in one sentence. Gary you coach Wacker are the real heroes and ya'll make Football,as well as, T.C.U. AND THE WORLD A BETTER PLACE1 THANK GOD AND GO FROGS1 Randy Abshire

Gary Patterson has shown he is a man of
high integrity. I prefer to believe him instead of players that are selling drugs. He is among the best mentors in the USA.
Unfortunately some players deviated from common sense and will have to live with their bad decicions forever and the agony they caused for their families and friends and Gary Patterson.

Dear Jane, the Austrian GUGLHUPF is not made with yeast. Never. I think that's a German or French version. We use BAKING POWDER. Always.

because everything is pretty much the house brand, I've had to memorize all the northwoods-inspired names for all the beats.

My closest friends and I baked cookies and breads and made dips and worked tirelessly on our little holiday party menu; we even had an annual ornament exchange. And aren't we cute?
