TCU’s Saturday baseball game with Mississippi was cancelled because of rain. Sunday’s series final is scheduled for 1 p.m. at Lupton Stadium. The teams will not play a double-header to make up the rain out. The No. 22 Rebels won the season opener, 7-4, Friday. No. 11 Horned Frogs right-hander Stefan Crichton, Saturday’s scheduled starter, will take the hill today against R.J. Hively.
Here's TCU athletics official rules on ticket rain checks: If a game is canceled due to rain or other inclement weather conditions prior to the team's completion of four and one-half (4 1/2) innings of play, then the guest's ticket is declared the rain check and is exchangeable for any future game that season, subject to availability. Exchanged tickets will be of equal or lesser value based on availability. Tickets may be exchanged at the Athletics Ticket Office. No refunds will be issued.
