Texas forward Alexis Wangmene will undergo surgery Tuesday to repair a dislocated left wrist and will miss the remainder of the season, school officials announced tonight. Wangmene (6-foot-7, 241 pounds), a fifth-year senior who averaged 4.6 points and 4.7 rebounds per game, injured the wrist in Saturday’s 73-63 loss to Kansas. Wangmene has been the team’s top interior defender this season. Coach Rick Barnes said: “Other guys … have to play and do the job. You hope you’ve done enough in your system to adjust.”
