Texas Tech has dismissed running back Ronnie Daniels from the football team for an unspecified violated of team rules, school officials announced today. Tech spokesman Blayne Beal said Daniels, a sophomore who rushed for 44 yards and one touchdown last season, will not be reinstated. Daniels was suspended from the team after last year’s New Mexico game but was reinstated after the season and took part in spring drills. Tech coach Tommy Tuberville declined comment in regard to Daniels’ dismissal.
