The only players in Texas Tech football history to have their jerseys retired will be the first three inductees into the newly established Texas Tech Football Ring of Honor, school officials announced today.
Running back Donny Anderson (1963-65), center/linebacker E.J. Holub (1958-60) and receiver Dave Parks (1961-63) will be the first three players to have their names etched into the Ring of Honor inside Jones AT&T Stadium in ceremonies held Sept. 1, during the Red Raiders’ opener against Northwestern State. All three players are members of the College Football Hall of Fame.
